Brenda is an AI-powered scheduling assistant. She handles appointment intake, booking, follow-ups, and practice coordination through email. Brenda is not a therapist, counsellor, or healthcare provider. She does not provide advice, diagnosis, or clinical guidance.
When clients interact with Brenda, we collect:
Client data is used solely for scheduling and practice coordination. We do not sell, share, or use client data for advertising. Conversation data is not used to train AI models. Each request is processed independently with no model training on customer data.
Brenda is powered by AI. Conversations are processed by a large language model to generate scheduling responses. The AI does not retain conversation history between separate requests. Context is loaded from our database for each interaction and discarded after the response is generated.
All data is stored with encryption at rest. We do not store passwords. Authentication uses email-based magic links.
Client records and conversation history are retained for the duration of your account. You may request deletion of any client's data by emailing us. When you cancel your account, all associated data is deleted within 30 days.
For accounts with crisis detection enabled (e.g., therapy practices), Brenda monitors conversations for signals of crisis. When detected, Brenda immediately provides crisis resources and discontinues the scheduling conversation. This is not a substitute for professional crisis intervention.
