Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

The short version

Brenda is a scheduling assistant. She's good at her job, but she's software, not a person. Don't rely on her for clinical advice, legal guidance, or anything that requires a human professional. We'll do our best to keep her running and your data safe. If something goes wrong, we'll fix it.

What Brenda does

Brenda provides AI-powered scheduling, intake, follow-up, and practice coordination services through email. She operates on your behalf as your scheduling assistant, communicating with your clients to book appointments and manage your calendar.

Your responsibilities

Availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee 100% uptime. If Brenda goes down, we'll work to bring her back quickly. We won't be liable for missed appointments due to service interruptions.

Billing

Brenda is currently free during beta. When paid plans are introduced, we'll give at least 30 days notice. Beta users will receive a permanent discount. You can cancel at any time.

Termination

You can stop using Brenda at any time. We can terminate your account if you misuse the service, use it for spam, or violate these terms. On termination, your data is deleted within 30 days per our privacy policy.

Limitation of liability

Brenda is provided "as is." We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which, during beta, is zero).

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
